THE WINE
Garnet in color, this Cabernet has intense flavors of black currant,
leather, and boysenberry. Subtle notes of allspice and roasted
marshmallow dance on the tongue. A medium body with savory
tannins and juicy dark fruits make for a lingering finish.
THE VINEYARDS
The fruit for our Old Soul wine is sourced entirely from our sustainably
farmed, family-owned estate vineyards in Lodi, CA. Lodi enjoys warm
days and cool nights which allows the grapes to fully ripen while
maintaining their natural acidity.
THE VINTAGE
The 2021 growing season was characterized by the drought’s effects
on vineyards in Lodi. There was reduced yield across all varietals with
harvest beginning mid August. Quality looks excellent, with higher
sugar content and robust natural acidity
